It has been awhile!

It has been a few months since our last post. I do apologize for that. We have been busy. Marty has started basketball season and it makes things harder at home. The kids are doing well and are ready for Santa. We found out a few weeks ago that Mason seizures have been caused from epilepsy, not febrile seizures. That has been difficult to take. He goes Dec. 19th for his MRI so please say a prayer for him and us the night before. I hope you all have a great holiday season.

Purina Farms & Mills Mall

Last Saturday we took a trip to visit Uncle Jay. We went to Purina Farms and Mills Mall in the St. Louis area. We had a blast! Here are a few pics for you. The kids were everywhere as you can imagine. We needed a break from Hannibal. Hope all is well!

Allie's 1st Day of Kindergarten

Thursday was Allie's first day of Kindergarten. OMG!! She went to school with me and I put her on the bus at HHS. I must say that I am not a big crier, but I did tear up as she got on the bus, sat by a friend, and with a big smile on her face waved to me as the bus left. Her first day went great. She is no longer a baby, oh how time flies. Enjoy them while they are really young because before you know it they are in school. I have attached a few pics of the morning before.

Visiting Relatives

Today we visited Aunt Max, Uncle Jack, and Aunt Neoma in Alton, IL. Grandma Lois and Grandpa Lyndle rode with us there. We had a wonderful meal and visited for a while. The kids had a good time playing and playing. They were so tired they slept all the way home. Whew!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some More Summer Fun

Today we had the opportunity to swim with our friends. Jen, Jason, Joanne (Mrs. Carroz as Allie corrected me b/c she had her for summer school), Jayden, Jayne, and Jenna came over to swim. It was really great catching up with them and the kids had a great time. I have included a few pics. ENJOY!

We are finally joining the world of technology! I think my friends Katie and Alisha got me thinking I should do this to stay in touch. Here in a few weeks our lives will be changing drastically. Marty took an assistant principal's job at Western High School in Barry, IL. He is so excited about this! I am not coaching basketball anymore at HHS. That will be weird for me not having basketball in my life. Allie starts kindergarten this fall (OMG). McKenna and Mason are starting new day care as well.
We just got back from my parent's condo at the Lake. We stayed for a week and had a great time. We boated, we swam, we ate, we shopped, we played, and we even got to go out a few evenings.
